Torres del Paine 4-Day All-Inclusive Tour at EcoCamp Patagonia, Chile

Chile
3 Nights·4 Days

Overview

Experience the Chilean Patagonia with a Torres del Paine 4-day all-inclusive tour! This itinerary stands out for its high level of personalization and variety, allowing travelers to build their own daily excursions from a diverse weekly menu. This flexible approach ensures that every guest enjoys a tailored exploration of the region’s natural beauty at their own pace.

The excursion menu features a mix of iconic routes and quieter explorations. Guests can challenge themselves on the trail to the Base of the Towers or enjoy scenic water crossings during the French Valley catamaran tour. For a gentler pace, you might visit the ancient Lake Sarmiento thrombolites or spend relaxing days at sheep farms with horseback riding.

Beyond the trails, the experience offers authenticity through accommodation in geodesic eco-domes that provide total comfort while fostering a close connection with nature. These structures run primarily on renewable energy, providing a warm and sustainable retreat after a day outdoors. Logistics are fully covered: transfers, professional guiding, and daily meals are all included.

  • Full itinerary: shared transfer to the camp, two guided excursions chosen from the weekday menu, and the return transfer.
  • Pick your effort: excursions range from easy to demanding, from a 2.5 km walk to Grey Glacier’s boat landing to the 22 km, 8–10 hour trek to the Base of the Towers. All trails stay below 1,000 m.
  • Look for guanacos, foxes, Andean condors, coscoroba swans, and black-faced ibises, and see the cave paintings on the trail of the Aonikenk (the Indigenous people of the Patagonian plains).
  • About 90% of the camp’s energy comes from solar panels and micro-hydro turbines, with a composting toilet in every private bathroom.
  • End the day with the daily group yoga and stretching class in the camp’s yoga dome.
  • Sleep in one of four types of eco domes in Patagonia’s best-known park: the Standard dome (10 m²) shares bathrooms, while the Superior, Suite and two-floor Suite Loft domes have private bathrooms with composting toilets.
  • Activities guided by English- and Spanish-speaking trekking guides.
  • All-inclusive experience: shared round-trip transfer, 3 nights in your dome at EcoCamp, all meals, 2–3 guided excursions with their boat trips, the national park entrance fee, and a trekking guide.
  • Please note: The itinerary below works as a menu. Each weekday offers two or three excursions, joinable on Day 2 and Day 3. All excursions leave from the camp and come back in time for dinner. The guide may change the order of the activities or replace an excursion for safety or weather. Boat trips and the estancia day run on a reduced schedule in the shoulder months.

FAQ

Reviews

“Rooms were spacious, well heated, and furniture inside was organized well. Bed very comfortable. The Ecocamp is situated in a great position within the national park, with convenient access to the day expedition sites that are offered. The surrounding area is very peaceful and relaxing. Combined with the wi-fi free experience that is promoted, makes for a uniquely serene stay. Food far surpassed my expectations, both in terms of quality/taste and variety of offerings for how relatively remote this place is. The offering of expeditions including Miradores (lookouts), Estancia (ranch), Grey Glacier, and Base of the Towers hike were excellent and offered a wonderful variety of different experiences each day. A highlight of the trip for us were the very knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly guides that accompanied us on the tours.”

“What a wonderful experience! My wife and brother in law wanted to see Torres del Paine and picked EcoCamp Patagonia as our hotel. It was amazing to have an all-inclusive package nestled under the shadow of the Towers -- what an amazing location! We did the 7 day package, which included 5 days of activities and two days of transit to and from the airport. When we got to Puerto Natales, there was a tour guide that picked us up and got us situated at their office. We were then driven to EcoCamp and shown our accommodations (a suite). For being located in the park itself, the amenities were great, with clean and comfortable bedding and our own private bathroom. The dome structure was amazing for making us feel immersed in nature, with Patagonia's high speed winds being clearly audible while we were nestled in our warm and comfy beds. As far as glamping goes, this was top-notch. The food provided was scrumptous. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options, which is no small feat considering that we were isolated in a national park! Lunch came from the same buffet, as we would pack a meal to take on our daily excursions. When we came back, we were treated to appetizers and drinks, then a 3 course meal! I definitely gained more weight than I lost on our hikes. The excursions were excellent and well thought out. Given that we were there during shoulder season, there were less guests on each tour, and aside from the three of us, we would have at most 1 or 2 other guests join us on a specific excursion. This meant a lot of quality time with the guides and a lot of flexibility in doing excursions or detours that we wanted. Specific highlights of our trip included the Miradores excursion, seeing Gray Glacier up close, the Estancia day (the best lamb we've ever had!) and Bases trek -- so pretty much any and all of the excursions. The guides (and drivers) were top-notch as well! All of them were deeply passionate about Patagonia and the outdoors, and they did their best to provide us with the context and knowledge required to truly appreciate what we were immersed in. Often, we would pull off to the side of the road to observe wildlife that they spotted with their keen eyes. Shout out to Mona, Rodrigo, Gonzalo, and Francisco for being wonderful guides and to all the drivers who kept us safe on the bumpy roads! Overall, it was an amazing experience and by the end of it, we felt a bit more connected to Patagonia and nature. It was amazing to see the night sky so clearly or to have the Towers framed so wonderfully in snow. It's also clear how much everybody, from the guides to the maintenance staff, cared about the guests having a great experience and left with an appreciation of Patagonia.”

“So we stay at the suite dome. The experience overall is great. Location is the best right under the feet of the mountain with easy access to so many trails. Food is fantastic. They have a heavy focus on vegetarian and vegan options so I count like 1 animal protein option a night. We eat a wide variety of things so find it no problem but I can see for some people it can be a problem. The dome itself is actually better than I think. For 4 out of 5 nights they are absolutely beautiful when it’s not too windy. However for one night when we caught the storm you can feel the bed is moving with the wind and we did not manage to sleep that night so you should keep that in mind given how unpredictable the weather is. The service is great overall including the tours. Happy with the whole experience.”

“My wife and I booked the oddly-named Wildlife Safari -- four days and three nights that for all practical purposes is two and a half days and three nights -- meeting up with another couple of friends who got there a few days earlier for more extensive W trekking. I say oddly-named, because it wasn't any more wildlife focused that a longer stay. But we love the superior dome lodging, just fantastic, the serious commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness, plentiful and mostly delicious food, and the relaxed vibe of the whole place. Our first full day excursion to Grey Lake was good, not amazing (lots of time in the van) but a good warmup. Our second day -- the 10-hour Torres Base Trek -- was spectacular. While there was some initial confusion on our departure logistics, when we were unexpectedly told we would have to pay for private transportation for an early morning departure, to their great credit EcoCamp acknowledged the mistake was theirs and refunded our transportation expense to Punta Arenas. It took a few weeks, but they got it done. That took them from 4 stars to 5 in my book.”

“There are not enough words to explain what a once-in-a-lifetime experience visiting Torres del Paine is .. and having EcoCamp as the base for your visit makes what could be an isolated spartan experience feel more like staying in a luxury hotel. We did the Wildlife Safari all-inclusive package which basically means that you get to select from 3 activities each day. Generally an 'easy', 'medium', and 'hard' option. This gives you the ability to recover between hard days .. or scale up to hard activities if you're unsure of your endurance. Each day you return back to your dome to sleep. Other people at EcoCamp are on a W-trek or O-trek itinerary where they may spend some nights sleeping in refuges throughout the park. That wasn't us. First, the guides are all excellent. They all speak excellent English and are friendly and informative. You spend each morning eating breakfast with the other guests that are doing that activity along with the guide(s) for that day. If it's a full day excursion (such as the Base of the Towers hike), you will be given a metal reusable lunch box to fill with a lunch. We're not talking granola bars and dry nuts (though they have those too). There are deviled eggs, quiche, roast beef, vegetables of all varieties, fruits, sweet pastries, cookies, etc. Oh, and the guides generally have some snacks packed (hand made peanut butter bars, fudgy brownies, and hot water to make tea) for the trek to supplement what you've packed for lunch. For treks like the Base of the Towers, there will be at least two guides so it allows the group to split (into a slower and faster group) so that you can work at a more comfortable pace. Upon return to camp, you're given your dinner time and you have dinner with the same group to recount the day. The dinners are far beyond what you'd ever expect at a good restaurant, never mind the middle of a national park. The food is excellent and well presented. There are vegan and vegetarian options. Wine and beer are free. Cocktails can be purchased at the bar. The domes themselves are spacious and certainly closer to a hotel room than a tent. The composting toilet is a bit of a thing to get used to but it's fine. We were in a Loft Dome (2 beds upstairs and a queen bed downstairs) which had a wood stove to keep things warm at night. No surprise that it's a little tricky to find a good temperature balance when heating with a wood stove but again, it's fine and there is enough bedding (plus extra in a chest in the room) to keep warm even after the fire goes out. Special thanks to Cata (Catalina), Nico and Rodrigo. They were all warm and enthusiastic lead guides on the three days we spent at EcoCamp. All of the other staff (front desk, bartender, wait staff in the dining hall, etc.) were also welcoming and excellent. This is a very expensive trip. Very. Expensive. But if you start to do the math on the amount of time you will spend traveling from Puerto Natales to the park each day and back and the fact that you'll need to factor in food each day, it starts to sound a bit less crazy.”

“We stayed in Ecocamp in Torres Del Paine for 4 nights, we were on a 36 year wedding anniversary trip. It was a great adventure and this was just part of it. When my husband 1st suggested this to me i was a bit dubious but it was one of the most awesome experiences. We stayed in a Dome suite and it was so cosy . I didn't feel cold or i was missing out on any luxuries, the bed was super comfortable and big, great shower with plenty of hot water, lovely fluffy towels and the idea of the compost toilet was not a problem and no smells from it either. We really enjoyed how the eco camp was run with nightly briefings about the next day and we sat at dinner with the guide and group that we would be hiking with the next day. Food was delicious and plenty of wine with our meals in the evening. They catered for a variety of special dietary needs and lots of vegetarian/vegan options available. However I would have liked to have seen more fish options for dinner like salmon or trout available. Lots of choices to make your packed lunch for the day with lots of healthy snacks to take. Hiking in the national park was spectacular, a real privilege to be able to do. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. And what a treat to have hot coffee or Rooibos tea at the top of the mountain with brownies and cookies served by the guides.”

“I don't understand why everyone who can doesn't stay here. This is the perfect Patagonia experience done very well. The staff is remarkable; very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to get what you need. The domed tents are extremely livable , clean and charming with views and very comfortable beds. Very cool vibe in the center dome area, two dining domes, a bar dome, a casual dome and two out door decks for when hikers return from their hikes to relax with their group and select the next day's tour. Every day there are three choices for the next day's trek. You pick what you like and are placed in the appropriate group. Oh, and I'm burying the lead - the food was fantastic. Buffet breakfast was massive. The quality and variety of dinners was remarkable. Free beer and wine isn't bad either.”

“An outstanding experience We did the 4 day Wildlife safari. Wonderful guides, G, Francisco, and Rodrigo, made it exceptional. Great food. Dome suite not cheap but highly recommended”

“We had an amazing experience at EcoCamp - if you are staying in Torres del Paine, this is the place to do it. Our Suite dome was perfect, and the food options are incredible. I miss being able to make a to-go lunch each day now that we're home, and make sure you ask the bartenders for their special concoctions - I don't even remember what they all were, but they were incredible. Kathy was the perfect guide for us on the Base Tower trek, kayaking the Grey River was one of the best things we did on our 2 weeks in Patagonia, and the horseback ride to a waterfall with Gonzalo as our guide was something we'll never forget. Another shout out for Juan Carlos, who is the absolute best! The entire staff at EcoCamp are truly amazing - from the arrival to the logistics, the daily adventures, the food, the drinks - I don't know how they do it, but everything works perfectly. The staff are excited to share everything they know and love about this incredible place. In only a couple days you really get a sense that they are a big family, and they welcome all of us in for a couple special days - we feel fortunate to have shared time with them and the other guests.”

“I traveled to Chilean Patagonia in November 2025 and chose to stay inside Torres del Paine park so I wouldn't have to waste time on transportation, car rentals, etc. I prepared for this trip for two years, physically and financially. Torres del Paine is far away, isolated and (maybe because of that too) wonderful. I chose to stay at Ecocamp Patagonia because of reviews in specialized American magazines and international travel guides, and also because I wanted to experience staying in a place with an ecology-focused idea. I didn't regret it and if I can, I'll go back. The guides are wonderful, they know everything from the region's history to its geology, and the location is perfect, close to the start of several trails. The food is fantastic, honestly, one of the best places I've eaten to this day. The cabins are simple but ecological, and the bathroom can be in the cabin or communal. The price may seem expensive at first, but after spending two extra days on my own in Puerto Natales I realized it's not that expensive. Everything in Patagonia is expensive because most things have to be brought there. Anyway, I would repeat the experience without thinking twice. They also offered yoga classes and spa things, but I didn't even have time for that. I left in the morning with my group and guides and only came back at dusk, ready for a shower, dinner and bed. If you are thinking of a five-star hotel to rest, this is not the place for you. If you want to make friends from all over the world and see what Chilean Patagonia has to offer with safety and a certain comfort, Ecocamp is one of the best options! It was a super experience in my life!”
