“The stay at the lodge in the Amazon was a wonderful experience. From the transfer to the lodge to the excursions on the river and in the forest, it was a unique experience. Special mention to the guide Tyson and his boatman, who allowed us to discover the fauna and flora in complete safety.”

“This was an unforgettable adventure (the three day tour) that far, far exceeded expectations. I went with two well-traveled friends and we agreed it might've been the most lovely accommodations/travel journey we've ever had. Elisama, our coordinator, was incredibly responsive and patient. The whole experience was incredible, largely due to the staff at the eco floating/mehreru lodge. Tyson and Josephime, our guides, and their drivers were so attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and tailored the experience to the group. We saw monkeys, sloths, tons of birds, caiman, piranha, and two schools of dolphins! Not to mention awesome lessons about medicinal plants and survival strategies in the rainforest, and an opportunity to meet local schoolchildren and teachers. At the lodge, the chef was *incredibly* accommodating of my friends' vegan diets- it was the best food they had in Brazil, after a week in Rio. Tyson and the chef especially went above and beyond every moment- early mornings, late nights, incredibly generous service. Tips for travelers: - Remember resort ware! After the tours you'll have time to lounge poolside, grab an drink, and star gaze in the rooftop deck. - The transfer to/ from Manaus is an adventure in itself. The boat rides are great, but note that you'll be driving for about 1.5 hours in a van, with a quick gas station stop, sometimes on bumpy roads. Nothing to worry about - just know what to expect. - I learned that tipping in Brazil is different than the US, and I was trying to find info on this, so I'll put it here: If, like me, you're overwhelmed by the care of the staff, tips are graciously accepted. I tipped in both reales and dollars; I honestly wish I had thought to bring just a bit more because it was so well deserved. I wish I had thought more about having sufficient reales to tip more generously.”

“Wonderful; Authentic; Genuine”

“Everything at the Dolphin Lodge was amazing! the staff, the excursions, the food and the place itself.”

“3 days of Amazon adventure were a unique experience. I was picked up from my hostel early on Thursday, and then it took about two hours outside the city to our starting point on the Urubu River, where the kayak tour began. We then paddled for about 2 more hours, relaxed, with the current deep into the jungle, trying to spot wildlife along the way. It felt very privileged to dive so deep into the rainforest in this small group of 4 adventurers and 2 guides. I had the feeling that we were the only people within a radius of 20 to 40 kilometers. We actually spent the days there always the same way: kayaking, delicious food, hiking through the forest to water holes and waterfalls, looking out for animals by day and in the dark, and sleeping in hammocks. Anyone who thinks it's teeming with wildlife will, unfortunately or fortunately, be disappointed. We didn't see many interesting animals, and I found the jungle atmosphere in the places where we were to be relatively quiet as well. But it was still a big adventure, because you never know what to expect. So, in summary, I would say the guides and the food were great. Sleeping in hammocks in the rainforest is certainly not something you do often in life. We went deep into the jungle, far away from large crowds of tourists. Overall I would have wished for a bit more variety, and I don't know whether we were just unlucky not to see animals or whether the area simply wasn't that rich in wildlife, which is actually what you hope for from an Amazon adventure.”

“The stay at the Turtle Lodge was an extraordinary and wonderful experience. I was particularly impressed by the careful and considerate approach to resources, wildlife and plants. Not a series of "tourist sensations." You get the feeling that you are truly allowed to immerse yourself in this incredibly beautiful nature and to get an idea of how humans and animals live there. You aren't "shown" anything, but are allowed to listen along, watch along, smell along, observe along, experience along. The Turtle Lodge team was friendly, helpful and caring. The atmosphere was pleasant, calm and thoroughly positive. A truly special, great experience.”

“Amazonas 3-days trip Our Amazon trip with PlanetaExo was absolutely outstanding. Everything was extremely well organized from start to finish, and the communication throughout was excellent. We booked the 3-day experience with the comfort accommodation option, and it exceeded our expectations. Transportation was smooth and reliable, and the guides and all staff members were knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the region. We were able to see an incredible variety of wildlife — dolphins, monkeys, sloths, birds, alligators, and even snakes. It was an unforgettable adventure, and we highly recommend PlanetaExo to anyone looking to experience the Amazon in a safe, comfortable, and immersive way.”
